Cape Cod National Seashore

Take a walk along the beaches. Bring your kite -- flew ours yesterday -- what a treat! They were swooping, diving, and flying high. So bring out the "kid in you," which is amazingly relaxing. Take advantage of the sun and surf on one of the top 10 beaches in the nation. Stop in the visitor's center for trail maps, movies and their gift shop.

Whalewalk Inn & Spa Offering 2000 Vintage Rates for your Cape Cod Vacation

Speaking of anniversaries -- do want to thank all of you who helped make our 40th wedding anniversary so wonderful. If you still have nowhere to stay for the Thanksgiving holiday, give us a call. Wequassette Inn, Joe's Barley Neck, and Academy Ocean Grille are all serving dinner. We are heading off to the Wequasette Inn for dinner. Can't wait! It is a wonderful meal, and we won't have to eat for the rest of the weekend. We will be smoking a couple of turkey breasts, so we have have Whalewalk Inn BLT with Arugula Eggs Benedict. They are amazing. Hope to see you for Friday's breakfast feast.

Labor Day Weekend on Cape Cod

Pack your bags for the traditional last weekend of summer -- although Cape Cod weather is amazing throughout all of September (bright blue sky, clean, clear air, high 70 days, low 60 nights). This weekend we are having our Labor Day Scavenger Hunt and first prize is a two-night stay in our Carriage House 5 or 6 rooms -- depending on availability. We still have a couple of rooms available -- three-night minimum, but have a couple of two-nights available.

After looking for all your scavenger treasures, we will celebrate the winners with a complimentary picnic. The menu will include smoked ribs, chicken, and beef brisket.
