Halloween on Cape Cod--Is The Whalewalk Inn Haunted? No One Knows For Sure!

Cape Cod is ripe for Halloween Hauntings. Even the Audubon Society is offering haunted tours. Bring your costumes and delve into the mysteries of Cape Cod -- natural and supernatural.

The Forest is haunted in Wellfleet Further out on Cape Cod, head for Mass Audubon’s Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary for another chance to experience the woods at nigh. Learn about the animals who inhabit the dark, some real, some you may just imagine. Guided walks from the Nature Center leave every 15 minutes. Halloween Mythbusters –Are Crows harbingers of doom? Mass Audubon’s Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary continues its Halloween celebration with a talk about crows by June Auger. From 2 to 3:30 pm. Vampires and ghost hunters at Hyannis Public Library on October 30, 2009 Find out about old New England’s vampire history from Susan Jarek-Glidden. The hear the exciting news about what the Massachusetts Paranormal Institute investigators found when they checked out the Hyannis Public Library--is it haunted, or not. Ghost Town Haunted Attraction From 6:30 – 10:30 pm on Friday and Saturday at the Aquarium Mall on Commercial Street is where to go to wander Ghost Town as pirates and other ghosts and spirits roam the streets. This is the grown-up Ghost Town for ages 13 and up.

And, what is Halloween without a viewing of Rocky Horror Picture Show? See you there at 10:00 pm at the Crown and Anchor on Friday, October 30th, (247 Commercial Street). Get into the crazy fun of it all -- you do remember the words, right?

Free admission and a magic show at Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum Admission to the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum (open from 9 am – 5 pm) is free all day for anyone who shows up in costume on Halloween. Peter O’Malley, voted Best Magician by Boston Parents Paper, will perform from 2 – 3 pm that same day.

Haunted Dune Tours Art’s Dune Tours is doing special Halloween tours. The first trip leaves at 6 pm and tours last about 40 minutes. Hear all the scary stories about Provincetown ghosts and other dune inhabitants.
